Does my room temperature effect my candle hot throw?
The optimal room temperature for burning a candle to have the best hot throw is 21C / 70F . If your room is too warm or too cold, this weakens the hot throw and it will be very subtle in the space. This is mainly an issue in the summer months, so my advice in these months, is to burn candles earlier or later in the day when the space is cooler or not in direct sunlight.

I can’t smell my candle anymore - is it faulty?
It is probably a case of nose blindness - This is why as a candle maker I use friends and family to test candle scent hot throw, as being exposed to scent for long periods of time, your olfactory system goes ‘nose blind’. Avoid using the same candle too often as this can cause you to become desensitised to the scent over time. Our bundles and collections are a great option for this, as it's a range of scents in a smaller wax, so you can try lots of different scents.

My pot has stains on the inside after burning a candle - why?
Our pots are made from Jesmonite AC730, which is a concrete based product. Concrete is a naturally porous material. We seal the pots inside and out with several coats of a water-based, non-flammable, free of solvents & VOCs sealer to try reduce the occurrence of any staining or marks, but the wax and essential oils are powerful and may leave residue behind. This is NOT a defect of the product, it is an unavoidable outcome which we cannot eliminate.
